I got the bookmark samples in today and THEY ARE SO NICE. It exceeded my expectations. Check it out in the videos below. I'm also sweetening up this reward tier: Now, every book will come with a bookmark. So if you order 2 books, you'll get 2 bookmarks, etc! Any extras are $10 each.

An Update on Shipping

We're right at our halfway point so I want to take a minute to talk about shipping before the campaign ends because I've been seeing some people talking about giving these as Christmas gifts and it's making me nervous. When I planned to launch Cosma Visions I was not expecting it to take off like this. I thought that we would have maybe around 1500 backers and the December delivery date seemed feasible. Now that there are so many of you here and the project has developed into a collection of wondrous things, December may be more like a dream. 

 Here's why: 

• The edition of Cosma Visions has doubled in size, which will take longer to produce. 
• The printing of Prisma Visions 6 is going to add some significant time to production as well. 
• The amount of backers in this project is astronomically more than I anticipated, it's going to take us at least 4 or 5 weeks to organize and ship out all of the groups and tiers. With Green Glyphs it took about 2 or 3 weeks to get through everything and that was around 1,000 people. 
• Shipping has been a nightmare since Covid began and it doesn't seem to be getting that much better yet. We have had packages take up to 8 weeks to arrive, if they haven't completely ~disappeared~. So even once your package has been sent off there may be a significant delay before it arrives to you.

I of course will do everything in my power to get these to you as soon as I possibly can, but there is only so much I can do. The rest is left up to the fate of the universe, please do not expect to get your pledges by the end of the year - don't buy these with the intention of giving them as Christmas gifts.  I want to be completely transparent about this ahead of time to give you a chance to cancel your pledge if December delivery was a deal breaker for some reason. I wanted nothing more to have this little magical box in your hands in 2020, we all know we need some extra magic this year, but there is a very good chance that it may be more like February 2021 before everyone's rewards are sent out. I always try to deliver things on time, but sometimes it is out of my hands and 2020 has been full of curve balls. 

I just want to do a really really good job on this. Like really good. I don't want to cut any corners, I don't want to rush for Christmas. I want to take my time so that when you are opening your reward it exceeds your expectations. I just need your patience, and I think I already have it, I just want to make sure. 

Below you will find a graphic of an estimated timeline, this could change and I will be keeping you all updated as things progress. 

If some questions have just popped into your head, the answers may be below: 

What if I don't know where I will be living in early 2021? Yeah I get that. I just moved in the middle of this and wasn't expecting it. That's okay. You will get a warning before we lock addresses to change your shipping address as needed. We lock addresses a few weeks before we begin shipping. 

When is my card charged? You will be charged in the two week period after the campaign ends. So expect it around September 10th - September 24th. 

When will the surveys be sent out? Surveys will be sent out after kickstarter collects all payments. This is usually 2 - 3 weeks after the campaign ends, so likely around the end of September/beginning of October. The survey is where you will select the actual items you have added on to your pledge and make any adjustments you need to make. This is also where you fill out your shipping information. If you don't fill out the survey, we can't ship you your items.

Can I still fill out the survey if I don't have my address ready? Yes! The sooner you fill out the survey the sooner I can get an accurate count for production.

Will I be able to add items I missed into my pledge after the kickstarter? Yes! Anything from this campaign can be added to your pledge when you fill out your surveys. Surveys will be processed through something called "Backerkit" which acts as a post-campaign store so you can add anything you may have missed. 

Will I have to pay customs and duties on my package? Yes, if you live in another country you may have fees imposed. We will do our best to minimize them on our end but they are not always avoidable. 

Can I split my reward to ship to two addresses? No, sorry you can only select one address to ship your items to. 

What if my payment fails? Kickstarter will reattempt to charge your card 3 times before removing you from the list of backers. If this happens you will have to order items through the post-campaign shop, they will not include the freebies in the campaign. 

What name will my reward ship from? It will ship from "James R. Eads", tarot or oracle will not be mentioned on the shipping box.

Now let's talk about our next stretch goal: The Cosma Visions Art Card Set: a meditation on past lives. This will be a set of 22 4x6 cards of the major arcana of Cosma Visions. Each card will be double sided and have the meditation written on the back of the card with gold foil. You can read the entire set of cards in order to assemble the Journey of the Soul. The cards will have rounded corners and will come housed in a nice box with foil printing. The box design is still in the works, so the below is only a potential design idea

The art card set is going to be an add on item, you can add the art card set on to your pledge for $10/boxed set. You may add as many as you like. After the kickstarter the boxed set will retail for $25-$30. If you need help with adding on to your pledge visit the FAQ! If you want to help us reach our next goal faster you may add on your $10 now! 

If you haven't done an add-on item yet, all you need to do is select "manage/edit my pledge" and add $10 manually. That's it! You'll select the actual items you have added on after the campaign ends and surveys are sent out, right now you are just adding a balance to your pledge.  

 I'm editing the stretch goals a bit so that I can sneak in some things I've been working on. All good changes  :)

Well, we're at 1000% funded. WILD! WILD! WILD!  

Thank you all for being here and believing in this project and sharing it with your communities. I would have never imagined we would hit $350,000. Now that we're here, we've unlocked the Cosma Visions Art Cards! 

 $350,000 UNLOCKED: THE JOURNEY OF THE SOUL 

 This is a box set of 22 postcards that take you on the journey through the major arcana. Each card will be 4x6 and will have individual backs that include the description of each card, they can be read in order to decipher the Journey of the Soul. Available as an add on for $10, will retail for $25-30 after the campaign.

 These art cards are going to be a really nice edition to the collection. BUT I want to do something even more special, because 1000% is a HUGE number... I searched high and low for those wooden boxes you all have been dreaming about and I found a supplier who can make them!

Soooooo I am here with good news to introduce The Cosma Visions Oracle Deluxe!

These upgraded decks will come with an additional wooden box* and will be laser engraved with the Cosma Visions Logo on the top. On the inside of the box you will find an edition label that will be hand signed and numbered by yours truly in a limited edition of 2000. The samples for this item are currently in production, once I have photos I will update the info on this. 

*I don't know if the original Cosma Visions box will fit in this wooden box or if it will just hold the cards and the manual like the original Prisma Visions wooden box. I'm trying to get it to fit everything but it might not happen, be warned.

This reward item will be a bit different than the rest. Because it is limited, there will be four new reward tiers that include this item, it cannot be added on to your pledge, you must be in one of these tier groups. To get this item you will have to change your reward tier to one of the follow tiers below, you can also see them now added to the campaign. ALSO, I made an error: bookmark add-on's should be $5, not $10. They will retail for $7 after the campaign and I don't want you all paying more than you should. If you have added a bookmark please adjust down $5, or apply this money to another add on.
